Sam is originally from Boston, Massachusetts but was raised in Las Vegas, Nevada. She always knew she wanted to work with and help people. During undergrad at Northern Arizona University she took an intro to communication sciences and disorders class and fell in love! After receiving her bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Northern Arizona University with a minor in disability studies she was a speech language pathology assistant (SLPA) for 3.5 years.
After gaining some experience as an SLPA, she returned to Northern Arizona University and pursued a graduate degree to become a speech language pathologist. Samantha has experience working with a variety of neurodiverse populations and people with disabilities. Although Sam is especially passionate about children who are on the autism spectrum she enjoys working with a variety of children and adults who are seeking speech and language therapy. Sam also has experience in screening ankyloglossia (tongue ties) and treating with oromyofunctional therapy. When she isn’t working, she is hanging out with her dogs doing various outdoor activities.
